Organic Farm Knowledge presents at award ceremony: ITU-FAO “Digital Excellence in Agriculture in Europe and Central Asia - Regional Contest”

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has nominated Organic Farm Knowledge platform as one the 28 practices selected by the evaluation committee to compete for the final phase of the “Digital Excellence in Agriculture and Central Asia - Regional Contest”. These practices were identified as impactful, sustainable, up-scalable, innovative, using a combination of multiple technologies and able to enhance the digital transition of the agricultural sectors of Europe and Central Asia.

There are a total of seven categories within the compettion and Organic Farm Knoweldge belongs to 'Category 2:  Capacity development and empowerment'.

Short runners, winners and champions practices will be announced during the Awards Ceremony which will be held virtually on 23 September 2021, within the framework of the ITU Regional Innovation Forum for Europe 2021. During this Awards Ceremony, the 28 finalists, including OFK, will pitch their solution and outstanding achievements.
