Cover crop management in conventional farming systems.
Moist spring can be a problem when cover crops need to be terminated on time for spring sowings.
Solution
Field experiences for several cover crops on conventional systems.
Description
In this webinar, two experts, one consultant from Illinois and one farmer from Iowa, speak about cover crops in conventional farming systems. In their farms cover crops termination is based on herbicides. The tool is not addressed to organic farmers, but some concepts, reduced tillage, cover crop benefits and the importance of correctly timing crop operations, can be useful also in other farming systems.
