Description
This web platform gives guidelines on organic farming for crop specific production of cereals, tubers, oil crops and horticulture, which are mainly directed to new and converting farmers. It provides basic information and recommendations on plant protection i.e. variety choice, seedbed preparation, planting, weeding, biological control measures, pest management, harvesting, storing and marketing, aiming to cover the whole production chain. The content and the level of detail of information varies greatly for each crop within the platform.
Some videos and links complement the description, where different machinery and harvesting of crops (e.g. spelt, potato, cabbage) can be seen.
There is a section dedicated for converting farmers into organic agriculture, where one can find certain regulatory information and addresses of Polish institutions.
