Production of wheat without pesticides or fertilizer may compromise the yield of wheat
Solution
Crop rotation, delayed sowing and mechanical weed control offer some solutions to improve yield in wheat
Description
The purpose of this tool is to provide information on the production of wheat without pesticides or fertilizer. The tool suggests crop rotation, timing of seeding and mechanical weed control as solutions to weed management . The target group of the tool is for farmers and crop advisors working in wheat based systems. This tool is for organic producers but may also be used for conventional production as well.
The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Union Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) under the grant agreement n°265865
