Description
This tool is the report of a series of meetings as part of a Field Lab run by Innovative Farmers. It was a farmer led trial, which addressed the specific question of whether silage was a possible feed, and follows the stages of farmer involvement and then results of both physical results and taste tests.
Research was carried out to show that silage can be fed to pigs. The indications that silage can reduce feed requirements for pigs without reduced output.
