Sucking pests, such as red spider mites, peal leaf blister mites and plum rust mites, are often found on fruit trees and can cause big damage to the fruits. They can also be found on the leaves, which turn yellow, become deformed and reduces photosynthesis.
Solution
The predatory mite Typhlodromus pyri can be used as a biological control agent against these sucking pests and significantly reduce the pest’s populations.
