Symposium living agriculture in Prague - March 4th and 5th

The symposium on living agriculture will take place in the national museum for agriculture in Prague and deal with various topics surrounding organic agriculture.

Main topics will be:

  • Is organic farming really sustainable?
  • How do you ensure the right nutrition for plants and soil?
  • And what is social farming?

Speakers include:

  • Martin von Mackensen from the biodynamic Dottenfelderhof in Germany 
  • Jiří Urban, one of the founders of organic farming in the Czech Republic
  • Jaroslav Záhora, researcher and lecturer on soil microbial activity and mutual interactions between soil organisms
  • Urs Niggli, director emeritus of the FiBL research institute in Switzerland
  • Thomas van Elsen, biologist, educator, co-founder of the European Academy for Landscape Culture (PETRARCA)
