En artanpassad grisdiet består av olika foderkomponenter med olika struktur. En sådan diet är dock tekniskt och rationellt sett mer komplex att producera än ett foder som alltid har samma struktur.
Integrera grovfoderutfodring i ransoneringsplaner och utnyttja gårdens potential för foderproduktion.
Utfodring med grovfoder främjar djurens hälsa och välbefinnande och kan samtidigt minska gårdens foderkostnader.
En god struktur och ett högt innehåll av råfibrer i ransonen fungerar som berikning, förbättrar mättnadskänslan och förbättrar maghälsan (bild 1).
