A teljesen bio, regionális eredetű baromfitakarmány előállítása kihívást jelent, különösen a kiegyensúlyozott aminosavprofilokat kínáló fehérjeforrások esetében. Ezenkívül a takarmányban lévő összes tápanyag nem áll rendelkezésre az emésztéshez.
A takarmányadagok optimalizálása érdekében az étrendnek az emészthető tápanyagokon, a tápanyag-kölcsönhatásokon és a takarmány egyéb jellemzőinek hatásán kell alapulnia.
A tápanyagok emészthetőségét figyelembe vevő takarmányadagok jobban hasznosítják a regionális takarmányokat, optimalizálva az egészségi állapotot, a testfenntartást és a termelési követelményeket. Segítenek az állatok jólétének javításában, a költségek csökkentésében és a kompenzációs takarmányozásból eredő nitrogénszennyezés mérséklésében.

This practice abstract was elaborated in the Organic Knowledge Network on Monogastric Animal Feed project. The project is running from January 2018 to December 2020.
