The fair is held annually in Barcelona and Madrid and every two years in Seville and Valencia, Bilbao and A Coruña. The event's long history, which has been running for more than 35 editions in Madrid, highlights the success of the biological culture movement. BioCultura brings together producers, distributors, professionals, and consumers who demonstrate the dynamism of the sector, a symbol of both the necessary and essential change, to take the definitive step towards a truly sustainable world.
This years fair expects 800 exhibitors and 74,500 visitors. Parallel to the exhibition, more than 400 activities will be held. More than 18,000 references of organic food products make up the largest sector of the fair, accompanied by other sectors such as hygiene and cosmetic products with certified ingredients. Sustainable fashion is also highlighted; ecomaterials, furniture and decoration for the home; renewable energy; wellness; saving and recycling; ecology; environment; rural tourism and rest homes; toys; handicrafts; music; books and magazines.
