The next Organic Arable Farming Day (Bioackerbautag) will take place on 13 June 2019 in Münsingen, Canton of Berne, Switzerland. It will be organised by Bio Suisse, the federation of Swiss organic farmers, the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL and Sativa, a Swiss cooperative for organic seed material, in collaboration with Inforama, the training and conference centre for agriculture in the Canton of Berne.
The day will be filled with an interesting programme
- Regenerative soil treatment
- Machine demonstration
- Diverse organic vegetable strips
- Specialty crops such as flax, millet, quinoa, buckwheat, hemp, chickpeas
- Arable crops such as cereals, potatoes, oilseeds, sugar beet, mixed crops, artificial feed production
- Protein crops – Grain legumes in mixed cropping
