Organic Farm Knowledge: Launch at Science Day at the BIOFACH Congress 2019

Over four days from 13 - 16 February 2019, the international organic sector will meet in Nuremberg at BIOFACH, the world's leading trade fair for organic food. More than 2,900 exhibitors and 50,000 trade visitors are expected at the event. During Science Day 2019, the Organic Farm Knowledge Platform will be launched.


 For this year's BIOFACH Congress, 8,000 participants at more than 120 individual sessions are expected. The main theme of the BIOFACH Congress this year is "The organic system – healthy in a holistic approach."

Science Day, which takes place on February 15, is  organized by the European Technology and Innovation Platform, will shape the new Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda for organic and agroecology in Europe. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss priority topics to address current research needs. Policy makers taking part in the event will provide feedback and highlight the opportunities for organic in the EU’s new Research and Innovation Programme Horizon Europe.

Furthermore, the Organic Farmknowledge platform will be launched during the event.
