It has been another year of progress for Innovative Farmers, the UK-based network of farmers and growers running on-farm trials. There are now more than 1,700 farmer and grower members, with 300 currently involved in field labs, receiving support from 20 research institutions. Stories about the group's research have been showcased in the farming press every week of the year.
This Field Lab Journal showcases the practical results of some of the people and projects of Innovative Farmers. The OK-Net EcoFeed partners Soil Association and Organic Research Centre are both involved in the network with several projects.
