Pasza i odżywianie

Europejskie przepisy ekologiczne wymagają w 100% paszy ekologicznej, a w 20% produkowanej w gospodarstwie rolnym dla zwierząt monogastrycznych. Pasza ma bezpośredni wpływ na wydajność, a tym samym na rentowność, zdrowie zwierząt i jakość produktów.

Produkcja lub zakup paszy zwykle stanowi ponad 50% kosztów ekologicznej produkcji monogastrycznej. Uprawa i produkcja pasz w gospodarstwie może zatem być ważnym sposobem na ograniczenie kosztów dla rolników.
